1750 silver casket

Description

Mid eighteenth century unmarked silver casket on four cast feet. The casket is probably Spanish , the decoration is imitating Mexican wooden caskets inlaid with tortoise shell and ivory squares. These caskets were made at the end of the seventeenth century up to the middle eighteenth century.
