1580 Hungarian silver cup

Description

Fire gilt tall silver cup with lobed decoration and engraved rim. The cup unscrews into five sections. and held together in with a central screw. Unmarked ca 1580 most probably Hungarian, from Transylvania, the region that during the Turkish occupation of Hungary became independent from Hungary.
