Silver gilt wine cooler designed and made by Odiot Paris, replica of the piece first made in 1798 for Napoleon and today in the Art Institute of Chicago. The famous silversmiths firm was founded in 1690 and carries on today. Its most famous member was Jean Claude Baptiste Odiot who designed the firms most famous pieces for the French Court of Napoleon and his Family.

This wine cooler is from the middle of the last century. It is the exact replica of the famous cooler made for Napoleon.
