Heart shaped silver box

Description

Dated 1816 and monogrammed “IW” heart shaped silver box. These boxes when they are hallmarked are always Norwegian. This particular box is not marked.With a hinge and a gilt inside suggests that it served as a recepticle for something that was given as a gift..!?
