Engraved silver spoon

Description

Partially gilt and engraved silver spoon , dated 1651. Makers mark only / “HB” conjoined , probably German . The hollow stem is engraved also and ends in a cast terminal of an angel holding a shield.The back of the spoon is engraved with a figure of a Saint holding a chalice.
