Early Seventeenth century silver drinking cup

Description

Early ca. 1620 partially gilt silver drinking cup. with two cast handles. Probably German. The shape is reminiscent of the so called “pineapple” cups produced in Germany in the late sixteenth and early seventeenth century, mainly in Nuremberg.
